Selesainya Sebuah Novel
Akhirnya novel gue selesai juga. Niatnya tahun ini gue mau puasa nulis novel karena novel ketiga gua yang bab pertamanya pernah kalian baca ini, membutuhkan banyak rise dan gue jadwalkan gue baru hanya akan merilis novel lagi tahun 2007.

Ternyata gue mendapat sebuah tawaran untuk menulis novel adaptasi dari sebuah skenario film. Film ini akan dirilis tanggal 29 Desember 2005, di hari di mana Insya Alah kalo gak ada halangan, gue dan Ninit udah ada di Jakarta secara permanen. Huhuhu...

Adalah kurang bijak bagi gue ketika mengatakan 'iya' sebelum gue melihat skripnya. Setelah membaca dengan penuh rasa, bener-bener jadi mission impossible karena banyaknya batasan dari berbagai pihak.

Tapi akhirnya selesai juga. Secara kuantitas, that is.

Ternyata sulit sekali menovelkan sebuah skrip menjadi novel. Pengembangannya mesti banyak namun story harus tetap terintegrasi. Gue sendiri punya masalah dengan storyline yang disodorkan. Nonton filmnya sendiri juga ternyata gak terlalu ngebantu (Gue dan Ninit diundang nonton filmnya, edisi pra-sound mixing)

Sulit. Gue berani bilang bahwa ini bukan karya gue yang baik...bkannya gue bilang bahwa Jomblo dan GMC baik...namun if those two worth something, let's just say this adaptation worth something less. Apalagi gue harus mengerjakan di saat-saat gue harus menentukan jalan hidup gue berikutnya. Berat banget ya komitmen terhadap hidup.

Gue cuman bersyukur aja sama Tuhan bahwa selalu ada Ninit di samping, facing the bad days.
