I’m having one. I don’t really know when it started but I guess it was around the time I got back from Indonesia last year… It’s a bitch yes..but it’s also confusing because instead of finding an inspiration, I ended up finding out why I’m blocked which is getting more and more confusing.

At first I was sure that it was the job. Pagi kerja, sampe sore, pulang-pulang masih harus belanja dan malemnya masak. The only time I get to relax is around this time. At this level noone can have enough energy to find what to write.

Then I took the time to click on some friends blogs. Silently visiting them, paying them respect incognito and not saying to them how much they mean to me. That their lives are full of blessings.

Some are happy having children, some are happy because they just went out on a movie with their spouses, even some were happy because he just saw an old friend.

Then I realized I got it all wrong. The job was not to blame. No matter how busy you are, when you have inspiration you will…make time. When I wrote Jomblo, I had to stay up till 3 am, and still get up to work. I had 6 car crashes because I fell asleep on road. When I wrote GMC, I was busy doing marketing plans.

So it was not the job.

It was the fact that I was happy at that time. I laughed alot. I had a life….

I had a life, and I had someone close, to share the laughter with…(for you, idiots, Im talking about my wife, okay!?)

That kept me happy. That kept me writing.

Hmm, can’t wait till June. Rgds.
